Students participation in the national FEDEEH meeting

05 November 2020
As part of the partnership between FEDEEH and Audencia, a dozen students will participate in the national meeting, PHARES & PHRATRIES courses, with the aim of obtaining training to become tutors for young students with disabilities!

The PHARES and PHRATRIES training workshops will take place on November 7th-8th, in digital mode !

The National Meetings are dedicated days:

- exchanges, training and testimonials;

- to active and fun participation;

- to the mobilization for an inclusive society;

- conviviality between young people with and without disabilities;

- a change of perspective.

About the FEDEH, Audencia's partner:

Created in 2010, FEDEFEH (Student Federation for a Dynamic Study and Employment with a Disability) is the national movement of young people committed to an inclusive society with regard to disability.

It supports the deployment of a mutual aid network of more than 800 young disabled members and more than 60 member student associations, including 12 national federations of disciplines (health, sports, legal and social sciences, etc.).

With the help of the members of its Resource Council (specialized associations, higher education institutions, employers and experts), FEDEH supports its volunteers in the implementation of actions for the autonomy and success of young disabled people: self-help theme groups, collective tutoring of high school students, scholarships, individualized advice, mobilization of campuses, sports challenges, collective coaching and individual sponsorship towards studies or employment, recruitment forums, etc.

The values of FEDEH are :

  • mutual aid and emulation between young people with and without disabilities;
  • the autonomy and empowerment of young people with disabilities;
  • volunteer commitment for a fully inclusive society.

Mainly administered by young people with disabilities, FEDEH is nationally recognized as an "educational association complementary to public education" and as a "youth and popular education association". It is the only national youth organization, a member of the National Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities (CNCPH) and its governance committee.

In April 2020, FEDEH launched a self-help platform to connect youth in need of help with volunteers.
