Over the two days (from January 31 to February 1), Audencia Business School will participate in the third meeting of the France & Benelux PRME Chapter co-hosted by Amsterdam School of International Business (AMSIB) and TIAS School for Business and Society. The France-Benelux PRME Chapter envisions to transform the mindsets of business and society, in the region, by making ethics, sustainability and responsible management the new norm. Audencia Business School has been actively involved in the establishment of the France & Benelux Chapter and is a member of the Steering Committee of the Chapter.
The first day of the meeting is dedicated to the question of how business schools and corporates can align and reinforce each other’s impact towards sustainability. Former Prime Minister of the Netherlands Prof. dr. Balkenende (currently chair of the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition, chair of the board of the Major Alliance, Professor of Governance, Institutions and Internationalisation at Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a staunch promotor of SDG implementation, both in business and higher education) will set the stage for this theme during his key note speech. Representatives from business and accreditation institutions have also been invited to join the meeting during this first day and to attend the two sessions that are foreseen for Deans. A parallel track will provide the opportunity for sharing and learning based on best practices presented by Chapter members.
The second day is dedicated to stepping up efforts and strengthening the Chapter: besides discussing some organizational issues of the Chapter, there will be space to work on joint projects that resulted from the last Chapter Meeting in Marseille (May 2018) , and to get inspired by PRME-related activities and academic output by Chapter members.
