Audencia has recently obtained the renewal of its LUCIE Label, a certification of reference in the field of responsible social commitment. Seven years ago, Audencia was the very first higher education institution to obtain this recognition and has continued to renew it since 2016.
Following an extensive audit by an independent expert analyzing commitment to continued progress, LUCIE’s audit committee renewed Audencia’s Label for the next three years.
“According to André Sobczak, Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and head of the CSR Chair at Audencia – “For the past 15 years, our school has been committed to sustainability and CSR, yet it remains primordial to continue improving our actions and integrate emergent issues. The renewal of the LUCIE Label constitutes both a challenge and an important step in this continued process of improvement as it is the result of an in-depth audit by a third party which compares our corporate practices with those of firms from different sectors of activity, and the product of consultation among all teams within the school in order to define new commitments in accordance with the school’s plan of action.”
LUCIE’s audit committee has highlighted:
In the next three years, the school commits to further reducing its environmental impact, the integration of CSR criteria in its purchases and choice of suppliers and service providers.
