Audencia reaffirms its commitment for CSR with RDD meetings

16 October 2020
Audencia co-organized with the Open Diplomacy Institute and 4 other French Grandes Écoles the Sustainable Development Meetings (RDD) under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

The RDD is an opportunity to provide a political forum for the French to take up the subject of ecological and solidarity transition. A space for pluralistic and independent reflection, they allow economic, social and environmental issues to be addressed.

In all, it was 7 days of intense online debates, bringing together no less than 230 speakers and more than 50 partners. A true democratic commitment for a more responsible future.

The school focused the final day on the theme Driving a Just Transition. On the programm: several Masterclasses and round tables with distinguished guests such as Joseph Stiglitz, winner of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economics, and Céline Mas, President of UN Women France.

As the first French business school to sign the United Nations Global Compact in 2004, Audencia is part of its historic commitment to CSR, as stated by Christophe Germain, Chief Executive Officer: "Audencia's ambition is to be one of the places in the world where new business models and responsible managerial practices are invented that have a positive impact on society in both social and environmental terms. It was therefore natural for Audencia to join forces with RDD.
